How to set up the 1, U5's DTR\\RTS?
Answer: the connector itself does not need to be set up, and all kinds of applications are set up RTS=PTT, DTR=CW, CTS=SQL (when needed).
2. How to send CW?
Answer: U5 CW output is equivalent to a hand key contact on-off signal output, controlled by the computer software DTR signal, using the CW line (the same audio line, equivalent to the audio line) to connect CW and radio station key mouth, hand set key mode of a software design CW=DTR.
3, using 817, 857, 897 radio stations, HRD can not be connected, display frequency?
Answer: the USB port number in HRD is selected. It is not clear that the port number is selected automatically or is checked in the device manager. Communication rate selection, should be consistent with the rate set by the radio itself, FT-897 station 19 menu view or adjust. Radio station 20 should be set to CAT.
If the USB port number is greater than 10 after the driver is installed, the USB port number should be set in the device manager<10Such as,COM2.
The matching CAT line is square port, and the CAT socket of some radio stations is deeper. It may not plug in to the end, causing poor contact. Properly cut off a little CAT cable side and side plastic, so that cable can be inserted into the end.
